Using The Calendar

Using the Admin Calendar The Calendar is the heart of your shop's operations. It provides a real-time overview of all upcoming appointments and staff availability. Calendar Views You can switch between different views to suit your needs: - Day View: Focus on today's schedule for all staff members side-by-side. - Week View: Get a broader overview of the upcoming week. - List View: See all appointments in a chronological list. Managing Appointments From the calendar, you can: - Create Manual Bookings: Click on an empty slot or use the "Create appointment" button to add a booking manually (e.g., for walk-in customers or phone bookings). - View Details: Click on an existing appointment to see customer details, services, and internal notes. - Reschedule: Drag and drop an appointment to a new time or staff member, or use the "Reschedule" button for precise adjustments. - Cancel: If needed, you can cancel a booking directly from the calendar view. Handling Delays If a staff member is running late, you can use the Add Delay feature: 1. Select "Add Delay" from the calendar menu. 2. Choose the affected Staff member and the duration of the Delay in minutes. 3. (Optional) Add a note for internal reference (e.g., "Previous appointment ran long"). This will shift upcoming appointments for that staff member to keep your schedule accurate. Filtering the Calendar Use the filters at the top of the calendar to focus on specific Staff members or Services. This is especially helpful in shops with larger teams.
